Richard Jordan

“My name is Richard Jordan and I’m the owner and founder of Excel Driver Training. I’ve been a Driving instructor for over 5 years, having carried out my training with the AA. I left the AA after 18 months to set up on my own as Learn2Pass. Boosted by excellent pass rates, value for money and fantastic reviews things have gone from strength to strength and in 2020 I rebranded as Excel Driver Training. The real buzz I get from being an Instructor is watching a pupil develop from being nervous in their first few lessons and guiding them to become confident, composed, safe drivers of the future and seeing the smile on their face when they achieve their goals. I’m currently working towards completing a BTEC Level 4 Professional Award in Coaching and Driver Development and completed a course to become an Instructor Trainer.
When I’m not in the passenger seat you’ll find me watching football as I’ve been a season ticket holder at Leicester City since 1992, supporting my son and his team mates at Hinckley Rugby FC, chill
ing out at home with my wife, sons and our 2 dogs or playing on the xbox.

Hi I’m Aneka and I have been teaching for over a year and recently became fully qualified July 2023.
I am 44 years old, married and have 2 children and 2 dogs.
I live in Nuneaton so cover Nuneaton, Hinckley and surrounding areas. I have recently come out of dog grooming for a whole new career change so I am very proud to say I enjoy challenges and I am a caring person. I definitely have a-lot of patience!
Why choose me? Why not? Auto is the future and i love teaching. Driving an automatic car helps immensely if you suffer with anxiety about using gears or even just getting behind the wheel.
There is nothing I love more than teaching a pupil to drive and getting them passed and safe on our roads . 🙂
Dean Holton
My name is Dean Holton and I decided to become a driving instructor/driver trainer after helping my son with extra practice between his lessons and realising that this is something I really enjoyed. I have come from a teaching background in the civil service which has given me the experience to easily adapt to different learning styles and abilities.
The most rewarding part of being a driving instructor/driver trainer is helping people achieve their goals and watching them progress and develop from being nervous to that of safe, confident drivers.
I plan to study further and become an instructor trainer and help others into this fantastic industry.
When I’m not taking lessons, you’ll find me enjoying quality time with my family and playing the guitar. You will also find me in my garage gym attempting to keep fit with an array of kettlebells.
I will also take any opportunity to watch Rugby, especially Leicester Tigers!

With 27 years of driving experience, I’m a patient instructor eager to share my knowledge and provide you with safe driving skills for life. I tailor each lesson to your pace and needs, ensuring a supportive and comfortable working environment throughout your progress.
I’m married and have two teenage children who keep my life interesting! As a passionate football fan, you’ll often find me at the CBS Arena cheering on the Sky Blues when I’m not teaching. I’m also a keen gym-goer, staying active through regular training. As a proper foodie, I enjoy exploring new culinary experiences and love a trip to the cinema.
